Sohrab Masoodi participated in the table top show on April 26th. The show was a success as we had a number of good leads showing interest in our line of products.

The Town of Richmond Hill made history by becoming the first ever municipality in Canada to celebrate Nowruz, the Iranian New Year, and MarSia was in the centre of it all.

As one of the founding sponsors of the event, MarSia welcomed over 600 hundred guests to the Mayor’s Nowruz Celebration on March 31, 2007.

“MarSia was established in Richmond Hill, and when the organizing committee approached us for help the answer was obvious,” said Sohrab Masoodi president of MarSia.

“We wanted to recognize our home and support our community,” said Masoodi.

The sold-out event was buzzing with excitement as politicians and residents mingled together enjoying traditional Iranian music, entertainment, and food.   

Guests were delighted to see leader of the Ontario Progressive Conservative Party, John Tory and Member of Parliament Bryon J. Wilfert, representing the riding of Richmond Hill for the Liberal Party attending.

“It was a very successful night, and we hope to take part in it for years to come,” said Masoodi.
